Annie Pajaro has 25 years of administrative, education, and clinical practice expertise in adult critical care settings. She is a Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences Assistant Professor and Center for Clinical Learning Facilitator at the Baccalaureate level of the School of Nursing. She implements evidence-based simulation learning activities in the clinical learning environment. She is a lifelong learner in simulation education and educational research to advance the nursing profession. She was a Simulation Nurse Manager at Chamberlain College of Nursing in New Brunswick. Her teaching experience includes multiple nursing curricula in didactic, simulation, lab, and clinical settings. In addition, she is certified in basic life support, critical care (alumna), nursing management, and is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Annie earned her BSN cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, a master's in nursing administration degree from Seton Hall University, and a DNP in Healthcare Systems Leadership with distinction from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Her DNP project (Abstract), (Full text), and other scholarly works were published in peer-reviewed journals. She is an Executive Board Member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society Alpha Tau Chapter.
