Leigh Snead is currently an Assistant Professor in Nursing at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock she teaches Pediatric and Med-Surg Simulation. She holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education from the University of Central Arkansas, a Bachelor's of Nursing from Arkansas Tech University, and an RN diploma from Baptist Health Schools. She has been teaching full-time for a year and a half, and as adjunct faculty member for 5 years previously, for a total of 19 years of nursing experience. Her clinical experience includes, NICU, Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN Clinic, Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Specialist (ECMO). Leigh is the current Chair of the INACSL Pinterest Committee where she hopes to provide innovative, cost-effective, and creative solutions to the challenges experienced in Simulation Education.
