Dr Elizabeth Robison has over 40 years of nursing, along with supervisory, management, and education experience in a variety of roles in the United States Air Force and higher education. She obtained her BSN from Duke University and MSN from University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her education background is that of a life-long learner, completing her terminal degree at the University of West Florida in 2012 focusing on Curriculum and Instructional Technology. Her certifications include: Certified Nurse Educator with the National League of Nursing and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator – Advanced with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). Dr Robison is a military veteran, having served in the USAF Nurse Corps for 22 years and retired a second time last year having served as a tenured faculty member within the Department of Nursing primarily working in the ADN program at Northwest Florida State College since 2006. Her last role she served as the Simulation Center Coordinator; involved with simulated clinical experiences for all students in the program. She serves in volunteer roles within simulation as a board member for INACSL as the Treasurer/Secretary, facilitator for INACSL Simulation Education Program, IMSH Conference Abstract Reviewer and a member of an Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) Simulation Committee. She also serves as the Chair for the NLN Foundation Scholarship Selection Panel. Dr Robison has presented at several conference forums, to include presentations at the OADN Convention, INACSL and SSH Conferences.
