Erin Clinard, PhD, CCC-SLP, CHSE is an Assistant Professor and the Coordinator of the Online MS SLP program in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at James Madison University. She holds a PhD in speech-language pathology specializing in pediatric neurodevelopment. Erin has been a speech-language pathologist for over 19 years and has practiced and supervised graduate clinicians in hospitals, not-for-profit clinics, university clinics, and public schools. Erin presents and publishes on interprofessional education and innovative approaches to clinical education, including simulation. She has particular interest in using simulation to support interprofessional education and to provide opportunities for students to learn to manage high-risk or low-incidence populations.
