Kate Glogowski graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1998 with a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology and is licensed in Minnesota as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She also holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech & Hearing Association. She has been serving as the Workforce Simulation Director at Minnesota State University since March 2022, overseeing the development and implementation of various simulation programs for healthcare providers in the southwest Minnesota area. Kate has 2 years of experience working in the Maverick Family Nursing Simulation Center and has completed over 2,000 hours in the simulation center. She is applying for her Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator certification by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). Under Kate’s leadership, the simulation program at Minnesota State University, Mankato has been recognized for its innovative and effective educational programs. She has collaborated with various healthcare organizations and educational institutions to promote simulation-based learning. In addition to her work as a Simulation Director, Kate has previously served as the Director for the Center for Communication Sciences and Disorders and as a clinical instructor. Prior to teaching on campus, she had 20+ years of experience as a medical Speech-Language Pathologist. Kate worked in a variety of medical settings.
