Paula Molina-Shaver, MS, RN-BC is an Clinical Associate Professor at Boise State University School of Nursing. Molina-Shaver began her teaching career in 2004, completing her MS as a Nurse Educator in 2010 from the University of Wyoming and joining Boise State University in 2013. Paula works with undergraduate nursing students in their mental health clinicals and senior preceptorships. Her past experience in the Pharmaceutical Research community
strenghens her teaching of pharmacology. She received a certificate in Genetics and Genomics from Stanford University in 2020, and strives to incorporate this knowlege into the undergraduate courses. Her research interests center on strengthening the undergraduate clinical experience, development of clinical student evaluation methods, and the use of Simulation in each of these areas. Board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center in General Nursing, Paula's clinical specialties include pediatric and adult primary care, home health, and postpartum mother/baby care. She maintains clinical practice at a free, adult health clinic.
