Professor Greenawalt is a full-time, tenured faculty member in the Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions, College of Health and Human Services at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Julie has published in several peer-reviewed journals, including Clinical Simulation in Nursing, (2017). She was the recipient of the 2017 Spirit of Simulation Leadership Award and the 2011 Excellence in Academic Setting Integration of Simulation, both sponsored from INACSL, and is a 2013 graduate of the cohort for Leadership Development Program for Simulation Educators sponsored by the NLN. She has served on the nominating committee, served as a nurse planner for INACSL, was the Conference Administrator from 2014-2017, served as a poster professor, on the research committee, and most recently as the Chair of the Governance Committee for INACSL. She also served on the Debra Spunt Grants Committee in 2016. She is active in numerous professional organizations and she continues to engage in simulation focusing on the teaching and learning of ethics in healthcare.
