Dr. Chung is a Professor at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Nursing. She earned her BSN and MSN from Ewha Womans University and her PhD from the University of Maryland, where she served as a faculty member prior to joining Illinois State University College of Nursing as an Associate Dean for Academics. Dr. Chung is an NLN Certified Nurse Educator and an SSH Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator. Her research involves using simulation and debriefing to promote students’ cultural competency and psychological safety. She was awarded Nurse Educator Scholarship from Center for Medical Simulation and is a member and an ISEP facilitator for the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation & Learning. She most recently presented at the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) 2023 on DASH up your debriefing learning curve.
