Teresa Gore received her PhD in Adult Education from Auburn University in 2014. She received a DNP along with Family Nurse Practitioner post-MSN certificate from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009 and a MSN in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Gore is recognized as an international healthcare simulation expert. She is a Fellow in the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (FSSH), a certified healthcare simulation advanced (CHSE-A), and a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN). She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Gore has taught undergraduate and graduate nursing courses since 2003 at multiple institutions. She is a Professor and Director of Teaching and Learning at Nova Southeastern University and Content Manager at HealthySimulation.com. Dr. Gore is a Past-President of INACSL. She has numerous publications and international/national presentations on healthcare simulation topics.
