Ms. Albert received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1998. Has worked in a variety of settings, inpatient and outpatient including cardiac services, interventional radiology, endoscopy, and perioperative care (Preop/Phase 1 and 2). Nicole received her master’s degree from South Dakota State University, specializing in nursing education, in 2018. She has worked for South Dakota State University, College of Nursing, Rapid City since 2016 as a clinical teaching assistant and as full-time faculty member since 2019. Nicole is a certified nurse educator (CNE) and teaches theory, clinical, and is a member of the simulation team. Research interests include competency-based learning, improving clinical reasoning/clinical judgement in undergraduate nursing students, and advancing simulation practices and professional development.
