Calvin Miller graduated with Bachelors in Nursing from Concordia College in 2007 before obtaining a Masters in Nursing Education from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in 2016. Clinical background as a registered nurse includes acute care, critical care, and cardiovascular care. Calvin is currently employed by OHSU School of Nursing in Portland, Oregon, where he serves as the lead simulation faculty in the undergraduate nursing program. Calvin has disseminated scholarship through poster presentations, oral presentations, and peer-reviewed journal articles, including Clinical Simulation in the February issue (2023). Calvin is interested in advancing the science and practice of healthcare simulation by maximizing the return of investment through needs assessment, intentional scenario design, and faculty development.
