Eloise Lopez-Lambert graduated for the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing (UMMC-SON) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2002. She continued her educaiton by bompleting the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), focusing in Nursing Education in 2010 and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2019. In addition, Dr. Lopez received her Medical Surigal Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2010 and the Clinical Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification in 2022. Dr. Lopez is an Assistant Professor at UMMC-SON, where she coordinates the clinical skills lab and assist with simulation for the Traditional BSN and Accelerated BSN programs. In addition, Dr. Lopez is one of the Clinical Skills and Simulation Lab faculty that conducts annual Debriefing Assessments for Simulation in Healthcare (DASH) for both the Traditional and Accelerated BSN faculty. She participates and contributes to the yearly Interprofessional Professional Education (IPE) simulation experience with UMMC School of Medicine and School of Pharmacy. Dr. Lopez is an active member of the Mississippi Nurses Association and holds membership with the American Nurses Association, National Hispanic Nurses Association, the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, and the International Nurses Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning. Dr. Lopez is interested in advancing simulation science through research and developing methods or tools to enhance realism, diversity, equity, and inclusion in both BSN programs.
