Daphne Thomas, DNP, RN, CHSE, CNE, CNML, CEN, is an associate teaching professor of nursing at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and she currently serves as the Simulation Program Coordinator. Daphne has been a nurse for over 30 years, focusing most of her career in the hospital setting. She has worked in various management and supervisory roles, including hospital house supervisor, trauma manager, department manager, and corporate project manager. Her research focuses on Nursing leadership and education. She is an active member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL), the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), and the Utah Organization of Nurse Leaders (UONL). She has presented at conferences locally, nationally, and internationally.
