Cherish Batts, DNP, FNP-BC, RNC-OB, EFM-C, graduated from Ivy Tech Community College (ASN) in 2009, Western Governors Universty(BSN) in 2013, Olivet Nazarine University(MSN/FNP) in 2018, and Purdue Global Universtiy (DNP) in 2023. Cherish is currently employed at Purdue University School of Nursing where she serves as an clinical instructor in maternity services. Cherish also holds the position of dedicated simulation faculty for all junior and senior level students offering simulation experiences in labor, postpartum, maternal complications, and newborn care, and simulation debriefing. Ms. Batts is dedicated in furthering the use of simulation to strengthening students clinical experience and improve their comfort on entering the clinical environment and interaction with patients.
