Simulation Education Specialist
Marquette University College of Nursing
Milwaukee, WI, United States
My expertise in nursing is extensive and diverse, with particular experience in hospice care for pediatric, perinatal, and adult patients. Upon joining Marquette University nine years ago, I transitioned to academia and brought years of clinical experience to my role.
As a Simulation Education Specialist, I provide hands-on, experiential learning opportunities for nursing students. I develop and facilitate simulation scenarios that help students learn and apply critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
I am committed to ensuring that nursing students are well-prepared to provide high-quality care to patients. I have shaped the future of nursing education at Marquette University with dedication, knowledge, and expertise.
In my role, I work closely with individual nursing students to enhance their clinical skills, taking a personalized approach to remediation and skill-building. I collaborate with faculty members and nursing students to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to feel confident and prepared for clinical, simulation, and lab evaluations.
Through my professionalism and commitment to excellence, my work is instrumental in helping nursing students feel competent and confident as they prepare for real-world nursing practice.
