Abstract : Esmira Yusufova, MPA, MSN, RN, CCM, CNE, NE-BC, AHN-BC, CHSE is an Assistant Dean for Simulation, Technology, and Online Learning and an Assistant Professor at Helene Fuld College of Nursing in New York. Esmira has been a registered nurse for over a decade in community health, case management, home care, and managed long-term care in NY. Esmira was born in the former Soviet Union and is fluent in Russian.
Esmira considers herself holistic and spiritual; she uses these skills with patients and in her classroom. In 2020, Esmira enrolled in an online course on the art form known as Neurographica, taught and developed by Dr. Pavel Piskarev in Russia. According to Dr. Piskarev, this art form helps people transform internally by removing limiting beliefs and replacing them with new desired views.
This training aims to introduce simulation educators to an easy and accessible technique to help in personal growth. Furthermore, educators can use the technique as part of debriefing to help learners overcome emotions and limiting beliefs.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, the participants will be able to use neurographica in simulation.
